Nursery Travel

Travelling to and from the Nurseries

Both nurseries are situated on key bus routes for more information contact Brighton and Hove Buses, Tel: 01273 886200, email info@buses.co.uk or visit their website at www.buses.co.uk

The major walkway routes to and from both nurseries are generally well maintained, lit and signed, and provide an easy means of travel for local parents and carers. The nursery has secure storage facilities for light buggies only and a limited number of bicycles. Currently there are no cycle lanes serving the sites.

Shoreham railway station is just a five minute walk away from the Shoreham Nursery. The car park opposite the nursery is free before 9am and after 5pm. This car park is very convenient for parents/carers when dropping off and collecting their children and we ask that this car park is used to avoid congestion outside the nursery entrance.

Close to the Brighton Nursery, car parking is limited and strictly enforced. Parking bays are available opposite the nursery and in the roads to the West and North. If using the bays opposite please take care crossing Eastern Road and if possible use the pedestrian crossings at Brighton College or the Hospital.

If you have any queries or comments on a nursery related travel issue please do not hesitate to contact us.
