“I cannot praise Sunshine Day Nursery enough. My baby boy absolutely loves it. I was super nervous about sending him to nursery but from day one at Sunshine I was put at ease and the transition has been super smooth. Perfectly organised settling in sessions to help my son and myself settle into the new environment and routine. Sunshine have also paid huge attention to his routine at home and have tried where they can to match this including his naps which was been amazing.”

Staff are nurturing and caring, and also have a real deep understanding of the development of children in early years. We love the child-led approach and are always impressed by all the different activities that the children get up to through the day.”
“We are always kept up to date about our child's progress through the day through the ParentZone app and get a really thorough report by staff at the end of the day. It feels like Sunshine gets the balance really right between providing a loving and caring child-centred environment but also being really on it in terms of organisation and the admin side. Communications are always sent really far in advance for e.g. bill info/payment changes or any planned events at the nursery and in general the nursery seems really well organised. ”
“My experience of Sunshine has been incredibly positive for my daughter. The staff are extremely knowledgeable, supportive and professional. She has come on in leaps and bounds since she started. I have found it to be a very safe and nurturing environment with a focus on learning and development and the staff are always trying to get the best from her and understand her needs and preferences as an individual. The management team are approachable and easy to communicate with and myself and husband always feel that they are willing to listen and respond. "Our girls are both very happy at Sunshine and enjoy going in to see their friends and the staff in their rooms. It is so reassuring to see them relaxed and happy to go there and when we collect them. We have been really impressed with the range of activities, learning and outings that both girls have done. Compared to other nurseries, I have no doubt that my eldest daughter has had a far wider range of opportunities to take part in, such as visits to the library and beach, cooking, putting on a show, yoga, ballet, French, being a special helper - she has loved it and learned so much!"

"My son has been attending Sunshine for over a year now and he’s really thrived in the environment. The staff are some of the friendliest people I’ve ever met and are so welcoming. Whenever I collect my son all the children seem so happy and content and are always off doing lots of different activities. It’s lovely how informed all the parents are kept from the App and also the newsletters. My son has been extremely happy attending Sunshine and I’ve seen a massive improvement in his behaviour. “We’d like to express our appreciation for the care Sunshine provide, they keep in touch on a regular basis on my child’s development, they mention improvements and are very encouraging. We enjoy the parent’s evenings they offer, as well as updates via parent zone. We are regularly kept in touch with about what toys etc have sparked the children’s interest that week. In addition to this we can share family photos for books/boards etc, which the child look through. It feels like there is a real personalised touch to the care at Sunshine. You can see why staff retention is so high and why families rave about the nursery in the community.”
